I’m Alison and I’m the practice manager at Bella Dental Penrith. I have been here for over a year now and I love every minute of the time I get to spend with this amazing team!
I have lived in Western Sydney my whole life and after briefly living in a different part of Sydney, I managed to convince my husband to move back here to start our family. In my spare time I love to travel with hubby, my favourite destination so far would have to be The Maldives. I am also super passionate about animal welfare and have two rescue kitties and a retired/rescued racing greyhound along with our crazy Jack Russell. We also happen to have our first bub on the way.
Growing up I never really visited the dentist regularly and was lucky enough to not have any dental issues. It was only when I started working in dental as a 16 year old that I really started to understand the importance of regular dental visits and realised just how lucky I was to have made it through those non-dental years unscathed. When I hit 18 though those pesky wisdom teeth reared their ugly head and I had sedation to have them removed. I’ve also had Invisalign to straighten up my teeth and take care of some gaps and I also regularly whiten my teeth to keep my smile sparkling, in addition to my regular six monthly visits.
I truly believe in the whole “prevention is better than cure” philosophy and feel that if you catch problems when they are small, it can save you a lot of time, money and discomfort in the long run and I love seeing patients turn around their dental health by visiting us regularly.
